Adelante Comunidad Conejo – Services and Community Outreach

What Adelante does:

·      Adelante is a multicultural, multigenerational non-profit organization where all are welcome to participate in leadership, service, advocacy, and support. Assistance for lower income families is one of Adelante Comunidad Conejo's highest priorities.

·      We distribute nourishing, fresh foods to all who ask for a helping hand, while working to inform the community about services and opportunities available to lower income families in the Conejo Valley with a special emphasis on including Spanish speaking Latinos.

·      We focus on building relationships and working with other support organizations while our leaders advocate for the interests of families who are sometimes not ready to speak for themselves.

Our Mission:

·      Advocacy - We listen to community concerns, especially from the Latino, Spanish speaking community, and bring those concerns forward to the agencies and organizations where decisions are made.

·      Networking - Local community connections are key drivers of change. When Latinos participate in conversations and activities alongside community influencers from all cultures and walks of life, we make community life better for everyone in the Conejo Valley.

·      Support - as needs arise, Adelante is prepared to make a difference in the lives of local families of all backgrounds who may be struggling to make ends meet or solve vexing problems.
