Adelante Comunidad Conejo has agreed to become a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) pantry. This provides Adelante families with additional high demand food items offered to us at Food Share through USDA. Although it will vary from month to month, the USDA foods often include frozen chicken, fish, tuna, rice, beans, and high demand fresh produce items.

The USDA requires that every volunteer who comes in contact with individuals receiving food at the marketplace is treated with respect and in a way that protects their civil rights. We believe that our practices are already on target to meet this requirement but we must be able to show paperwork proving that each marketplace volunteer knows about the rules and agrees to follow them.

Every volunteer at the Marketplace and at the Shadows Pantry must complete, sign, and submit the form in advance online or by hand on site when you arrive to volunteer.

You can complete this form online or fill out a paper copy when you arrive at the marketplace or at Shadows. The more of us who complete the form online, the calmer things will be. Email Dorothy or Betsy at AdelanteConejoFood@gmail.com for questions or concerns.

When the link opens, click on the “CONTINUE” button at the bottom of the screen.

Fill in your information, initialing at key spots, and e-signing the form. Hit the submit button.

Verify your submission by opening the after-submission email.

Click on the link in the email to "confirm" your email address. See pic below. 

If you can’t get the online version to work, a paper copy will be available at the Marketplace Volunteer Check-in table for you to read, complete, date, and sign. You cannot volunteer without completing the form.
