At Adelante, volunteering is for everyone.
There is nothing as precious as one’s time, and we consider it a great compliment that you would give us yours.
There are volunteer opportunities for all abilities and languages. We understand that many have limits to what they are able to do and when they are available. We have a spot for you! We can sign off on community service requirements and welcome teens into our volunteer programs. Many of our volunteers also receive food support. Please don’t be shy about signing up for both.
Most of our volunteers are participating in food rescue efforts or free food distributions but there are other opportunities which we would be happy to share with you.
Preparation for the Shadows pantry and the Community Free Marketplace take place at the United Methodist Church of Thousand Oaks, located at 1000 E. Janss Rd. The Community Free Marketplace is held one Saturday a month at Beyer Park on Los Feliz and Conejo School Road adjacent to Conejo Academy.
Other volunteer opportunities and projects are scheduled throughout the year.

No hay nada más valioso que el tiempo de una persona y consideramos un gran cumplido que usted nos brinde el suyo.
Hay oportunidades de voluntariado para todos los niveles e idiomas. Entendemos que muchos tienen límites en cuanto a lo que pueden hacer y cuándo están disponibles. ¡Tenemos un lugar para ti! Podemos aprobar los requisitos de servicio comunitario y dar la bienvenida a los adolescentes a nuestros programas de voluntariado. Muchos de nuestros voluntarios también reciben apoyo alimentario. No dude en registrarse en ambos.
